SLS, born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, majored in piano at the Department of Music, Taipei National University of the Arts, and studied at the Department of Music and Sound Design at Senzoku Gakuen College of MusicΒ in Japan, where he majored in composition/arrangement, and is in fact an multi-skilled musician and content creator.

SLS started his piano journey since primary school just for fun. Since childhood, he has gradually demonstrated his musical talent, with a keen sense of sound and passion for music; He often likes to try to replicate the songs he has heard before, and thus he has built up a foundation of arranging and improvisation.

In addition to classical piano, SLS has also been exposed to a wide range of music gernes, such as pop, rock, jazz, games, animations and movies.Β

During his time inΒ Taipei University of the Arts, SLS studied piano performance under professorΒ Ziyu Guo, composition underΒ Ming-Hsiu Yen. Skilled in piano accompaniment and collaborative arts, with extensive experience performing with vocalists and instrumentalists. Founded and managed the YouTube channelΒ SLSMusicΒ , self-taught in recording, photography, editing, and mixingduring his free time.

After graduating, he studied recording and arranging on his own, and then enrolled in the Department of Music and Sound Design at Senzoku Gakuen Music College in Japan, where he studied arranging, advanced harmony, and orchestration under Toshiyuki Watanabe, and arranging & mixing under Takeyoshi Mori.

In addition to his superb piano techniques, he is also known for his excellent improvisation and accompaniment skills. He has collaborated with more than dozens of musicians, including vocalists, strings, winds, and percussionists, and has served as an accompanist for operas, choirs.

SLS is also active in concerts, theaters, game music, and live broadcasting projects as a performer, arranger, or music producer, such as the Piano Art Space in the Eslite Bookstore, providing music for Rayark Game, arranging and mixing for Diabolo Dance Theatre, arranging for Huang Brothers concerts, and as a full-time accompanist for 魚乾 live broadcasting concerts. At the same time, SLS is committed to the promotion of piano music and multi-media music education, and is often invited by schools and clubs to conduct seminars and courses to share knowledge, in the hope that the music education environment in Taiwan can become more and more sound.

At the end of 2023, he opened his second channel "Silvers the Pianist" under his own English name, and show up as a Live2D VTuber, hoping to separate himself from the original channel, and get rid of the shackles of the youtube algorithms from the main channel to share more about music, piano, life, and his own anecdotes.
